Kate McKinnon was named the Best Supporting Actress on a Television Series on last night’s American Comedy Awards, which aired on NBC. The out Saturday Night Live cast member beat out Chelsea Peretti, Vanessa Bayer, Julie Bowen and Aubrey Plaza. Her speech is, of course, hilarious.

Kate Mckinnon And Her SNL Costars Have A Slumber Party

I love it when the ladies of Saturday Night Live get together for magazine shoots because there is never enough of them in one place. Cosmopolitan read my diary and staged the current female cast members in a big slumber party while asking them some fun questions. They also make a note that Kate McKinnon is “the show’s first openly gay female cast member”.

AE alum Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant slayed with a SNL sketch Saturday night where they played two stars of a Cagney & Lacey-esque cop show. Kate stars as Dutch Plains, playing the character of Les Dykawitz. (Amazing.) Aidy is Velvy O’Malley, playing Chubbina Fatzarelli.

Hudson Valley Episode Two – Felize vs. the Feminists

Out SNL writer Paula Pell has created a new web series loosely based on her life and friendship with BFF James Anderson. Hudson Valley Ballers, which also features Kate McKinnon and Paul Rudd, follows Paula and James as they “spend their days running a bed and breakfast and ballin’ with the locals in the Hudson Valley.” Things get interesting every time someone comes to visit, as you can see in the first two episodes which premiered on Above Average today.
