I did an interview with AfterEllen and, um, Heather read a letter that someone had Tweeted to her, saying that she was - I guess she lived in a small town - she was depressed and suicidal. She felt like she couldn’t come out to anyone. And that - seeing the storyline on the show, and seein gherself reflected back at her, she’d never seen anyone like her - it made her feel like “I’m OK,” you know? Love is love and it kind of freed her to come out and not be afraid and not fear the bullies. - Bianca Lawson
